Meet the Founder - Margo

Hello and welcome to FOMO MOFO, where innovation meets style in the realm of hair care. I am Margo, the founder of this pioneering brand, and my journey in the world of science and beauty is one I am blessed to share with you.

My adventure began in 2006 at the SCU Centre for Plant and Animal Conservation Genetics, a time that marked the beginning of my enduring passion for cellular science. This passion steered me towards the ever-evolving field of regenerative medicine, working in collaboration with the esteemed Monash Immunology and Stem Cell Laboratories. I have been honoured to contribute to groundbreaking work in autologous stem cell therapies, PRP, and other cell-based regenerative procedures, extending my expertise across national and international borders, including the US and Asia.

I hold my experiences and the mentors I've worked with in high esteem, especially the opportunity to work alongside Dr. Samuel Wood and Dr. Andrew French, true pioneers in stem cell medicine. These collaborations have not only enriched my knowledge but have also been a source of great inspiration.

My career has been graced with notable recognitions, such as being a finalist in the 2014 Gold Coast Women in Business Awards for Research and Innovation and contributing to the influential textbook "Stem Cells in Aesthetic Procedures." These milestones reflect my commitment to ongoing learning and staying at the forefront of new technologies and innovations.

The genesis of FOMO MOFO was inspired by my firsthand observations of the psychological impacts of hair loss on young men during my tenure in the cosmetic medical field. I realized the urgent need for a solution that was both effective and respectful of overall health.

Thus, FOMO MOFO was born, a brand that stands for courage, innovation, and a commitment to holistic well-being.
